"I Can Fix America: 52 common sense ways YOU can make the United States great again." by David Duley by raritthalerin Libertarian

[–]raritthaler[S] 0 points1 point ago

According to the amazon preview:

2 - "Move financial accounts to smaller bank or credit union." Well, I've been with a credit union for decades and they don't pay good interest on savings either. They might "know me" but that doesn't up the interest rate.

3 - "Call or visit the most significant elder in my life." Good advice anytime.

Don't know what the others are. Guess one has to buy the book. If it doesn't "fix America", can I get my money back?

P.S. Wonder if there are any libertarian suggestions?

How to buy a single share of Facebook stock by Frankfusionin technology

I'm troubled about CalPERS benefiting from the initial Facebook IPO. If it was such a good deal, why don't they hold on to it and benefit even more from the eventual increase? Instead, these "too big to fail" organizations will try to sell the stocks to the small folks with inflated ideas of value.

Endgame for the Euro? by spikein Economics

[–]raritthaler 2 points3 points ago

No one wants "austerity" - that is, getting real. Just try it out in the U.S. The talking torsos speak of it, but no one wants to be first.

Finally Krugman makes some sense, except for the need to inflate the currency.

OK. Perhaps the wrong forum, but it's funny and clever and from 2010.
