Ye I agree with you here, but how do you prove or disprove if a person has a soul or not (and that it goes somewhere when you die). Other there being no proof saying otherwise there is not much more you can say.

I usually just walk away as soon as they use the 'because the bible told me so' card. No use using reason then. The bit I don't understand though, is that many of these people that use the 'because the bible told me so' to justify what they say are logical and generally smart people. I work with many of them.

Tried that route before. No use nitpicking and besides spelling isn't the issue here. And then there's the part where you feel like an idiot for inadvertently spelling something wrong yourself after correcting the other person - case in point 'specious' for 'species' ಠ_ಠ.

I rate he fell off before the bike hit the car. This is also supported by the fact that he sustained mainly upper body injuries.

Likewise, we find ourselves in a similar conundrum. Both recently qualified with good degrees that would allow is to earn well going forward; but still willing to give it all up FOR SCIENCE!
