Maybe I'm being overly cynical but could it perhaps be an attempt to move the Republican party and candidates to more moderate stances to improve the chances of electability of the eventual presidential candidates?

Fox News, talk radio and other conservative mouth pieces are well aware of the influence they have over the base. They set the tone and the frame of reference for their audience. But this move isn't for the base- not really anyway. It's for the candidates. You see, much like how the candidates were forced to tacitly voice their approval (or lack of disapproval) for Limbaugh's Sandra Fluke diatribe causing damage in electability for the candidates among independent voters, this is intended to do the opposite. It's intended to tamp down the controversies that would put conservatives on the side of an issue that could be highly damaging to their standing among independent voters. The portion of the election where the base needs energized -the primaries- are winding down and their continuance is a threat only to the GOP.

Bill O'Reilly is kind of taking a bullet for the candidates by taking up the position that is most likely to alienate the base so that he is the focus of any frustration.

I don't expect O'Reilly to keep doing this but a few other talking heads on Fox might soften the edges on a controversial, typically core conservative and contemporaneous issue here and there, just to give the candidates more slack so that they don't hang themselves. This is actually an aggressive tactic rather than a defensive one. It claims more ideological territory as a safe space for Republicans to operate in while still allowing them to push for their core agendas.

My late grandmother was similarly involved in efforts in the US. She too contracted polio and ended up as a quadripeligic. She lobbied heavily for the requirement of wheelchair ramps and handicap accessible restrooms. It didn't hurt that at the time she was well to do. I believe her medical bills solved that though.

Go to Cincinnati. There's a metal works shop somewhere down there that sells em for $16 a pop. I forget its name and where it's located. All I know is that they were hard to contact and not there when I went to go pick up. But they're less than a third the price Patrick charges.

Nope. Definitely not. My dad isn't particularly uptight and he didn't run an uptight church. I don't think it ever really occurred to me that your site name could be taken poorly by a churchgoing crowd. I just knew that your art was amazing and would work better than some of the cheesy images my father had been using up to that point. He was impressed enough with the artwork that I don't think the site name bothered him.

I thought a number of yours worked very well for religious themes though. I think he liked to use Glenwood, Hall of Kings and Rocks especially frequently.

I've had a dream with you in it as your character from Breaking Bad, as well as Jesse. We were being chased around stacks of missiles and other weird stuff. I don't remember the rest of the dream but that it was intense and that I don't usually have dreams with people who are real in them. Usually everyone in my dreams are completely original creations (almost no TV characters or people I know), so it stuck out in my mind. I also remember it being weird because at that point I'd only seen one or two episodes with you in them and you were not in any currently airing episodes.

I have to reply to the date thought from the OP. Even if you are interested, considering it, whatever, I would suggest not letting your daughter know/think of it as a date. It will be in her fantasies already that you and her mom suddenly get together, are happy and make one happy cohesive normal family. You don't want to overtly encourage that concept before you have a handle on the situation because the disappointment from that potentially not working out would be rough on her. You have a lot to sort out of course and there's no need to put more pressure on the situation.
