Research? No. But how about this:

Name one Republican platform that does not lead to the devaluation of labor and the transfer of wealth to the wealthy corporate investor class?

Aside from the social things like abortion, gay rights, and other things that the GOP uses to keep the troops excited and in line, all the Republican bills, policies, laws, proposals and so on have the same result: devalue labor, increase return on investment to the wealthy investor class. Is this right/wrong? That depends on what side one is on. If one is part of the wealthy investor class, the GOP is their ticket to continued prosperity. If one is a laborer (as are most of us), the GOP is not ones cup of tea.

Well said and something I've been mentioning for years. If Mitt Romney "risks" 100 Million and loses it, he's still a multimillionaire with no risk of being homeless, without heath care, or without a secure future. If a common laborer risks ten years of his labor at a factory and it goes bust, that laborer has lost a great deal.

There are many strong objections to universalized healthcare, not least of which its costs, especially here in the US.

"French Toast" is supposed to be made with stale crusty bread. The French call this dish "lost bread"; a meal that rescues stale bread with an egg custard.

Using fresh banana bread or other nonsense is simply not "lost bread" or "French Toast". It might be good. You may like it very much, but it's not "French Toast".

Inequalities are a part of life and in a just society, they are minimized in the name of humanity, fellowship, and the greater good. This is the role of friends, family, and citizenry.

We are a common people, joined together to form a more perfect union that promotes the general welfare.

We fought a war of independence from a nation/culture that worshiped the individual and property ownership over the welfare of the people. And yet, some in this nation want to return to that tyranny....it boggles the mind as to why.

The distribution of wealth is fair. Those who work harder, longer, perform better, and delay gratification get more wealth. That is how it works in the USA.
